Born and raised in Prince George, Amanda originally attended CNC where she earned a Kinesiology Diploma with Honours before moving to Kelowna to attend UBCO, where she completed her Bachelor of Human Kinetics with a focus in clinical exercise physiology. Afterwards, Amanda pursued her Master of Physical Therapy at UBC Vancouver. During her masters, Amanda had the opportunity to be involved in multiple extracurricular activities including running the Neurosciences Club, and acting as the Clinical Education representative. Outside of class, she worked as the Executive Assistant for the national Cardiorespiratory Division, helping organize courses and disseminate information to physiotherapists across Canada.
After graduating, Amanda moved to Kamloops where she worked in both private practice as well as Royal Inland Hospital. She has now returned to Prince George and is excited to be practicing in her home community! Her professional interests include working with stroke survivors and other neurological injuries, paediatrics, and as an avid animal lover, she hopes to pursue canine physical therapy in the future.

Meet Jared, a Kamloops native who later found his home in Prince George. His roots in this community run deep, nurtured during his formative years while actively engaging in hockey and lacrosse. Jared’s dedication to these sports allowed him to proudly represent Prince George on various levels. However, his athletic journey took an unexpected turn when injuries forced him to step away from the game. It was these setbacks that ignited Jared’s passion for helping others pursue their interests and dreams, whether it be a hobby, sport, or occupation.
With a vision of making a difference in the lives of those facing physical challenges, Jared embarked on a path of higher education. He pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria, where he had the privilege of working closely with varsity athletes in rugby, basketball, and soccer.
